Laura Graham
Laura qualified as an occupational therapist in 2003 from St Martin’s College, University of Lancaster. She is registered with the HCPC and a member of the specialist section of the college of Occupational Therapists.  Her first post was in a NHS community adult neurodevelopmental and learning disability team working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to carryout assessment and intervention.  Laura continued her career within the NHS with a move to a community paediatric team post where she was responsible for assessment and treating individuals with a range of conditions such as DCD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other conditions which impacted upon the children’s ability to complete their everyday activities. Laura is an accredited sensory integration practitioner with the SI network UK and Ireland and is currently studying with the University of Ulster to complete her MSc in Sensory Integration and reach advanced practitioner status.  In 2010 Laura was awarded the Queens Nursing Institute award for innovation and leadership for her part in developing a community based sensory and behaviour clinic.  Laura is also employed in a quality assurance role with the HCPC as a Visitor and as part of the Education Team.

Laura has been working as an independent occupational therapist since 2013 and now provides an occupational therapy and sensory integration service into a range of schools including mainstream, independent and special schools, she carries out assessment and 1:1 intervention and delivers training on a range of subjects.
